In September of 2005 a small flower shop “Lavender and Lilacs Florist” opened its doors in the heart of downtown Vancouver, British Columbia . Three years later we have become one of downtown Vancouver’s most hidden treasures.
This exquisite flower shop will not only exceed the expectations of the most sophisticated flower shoppers, but it will also inspire, soothe, invigorate, and calm its visitors.
Today we are delighted to present our company as two independent locations: “Lavender and Lilacs Florist” Downtown Vancouver and “Posy Floral Design” Lynn Valley Village in North Vancouver. Catering to both corporate and individuals, we create breathtaking floral pieces with the focus on quality, artistry, and exceptional customer service.
Our Team
Our charming team of talented florists and designers have worked a long time in the floral design field. We work individually with each client and try to offer something special, creative, and suitable for your wishes and opportunities.
New Management
As of 2014 the company has transitioned its operations to run under new management, which fuses both European and North American views on floral design and artistry. Our new CEO, Elena holds a master's degree in landscape design, florist art, and art of Ikebana. She has worked as a landscape and floral designer in Russia and France; participated in numerous exhibitions for the masters of the Japanese school of the Ikebana Sogetsu and an International competition of landscape art and design in Moscow. She brings fresh and new perspectives on floral design, as she elegantly incorporates her vision into all her creations.

Now, we are a full-service florist company, offering floral solutions and decorations for all occasions including birthdays, weddings, parties, and funerals, as well as high-end floral service for residential and office premises. 2005 Welcome to "Lavender & Lilacs Florist"
“Lavender & Lilacs Florist” opened its’ doors in the heart of downtown Vancouver, British Columbia.
2006 We Expanded Our Business
We expanded our business from the local flower shop to online and offline business. Now our customers all around the world could order fresh flowers for their beloved, friends and business partners with delivery to any part of the world.
2007 Same day Flowers Delivery
We proudly started to provide same day delivery to following areas: Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Delta, Surrey, Langley, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, Tri-cities, Fraser valley and lower mainland. Delivery to any other city, country is provided though our worldwide partner network.
2010 We Had Doubled Our Inventory List
We had doubled our inventory list. Our customers could order a variety of flowers available in Canada, British Columbia. Moore than 200 different flower design compositions are available for our clients.
2014 New Management
Vancouver Floristry has transitioned its operations to run under new management, which fuses both European and North American views on floral design and artistry together.
2015 The Formal Meeting
We were honored, as the winners of a contest, to decorate the conference hall for the meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. The floral arrangements were made in colours of the flag of India.
2015 Best Of The City 2015 Gold Winner WestEnder
Lavender & Lilacs Florist Boutique was honored as the Gold Winner with recognition from the WestEnder newspaper’s 18th annual Best of the City readers’ poll 2015. Every year the poll asks readers from throughout Vancouver to rank their favorite businesses around Vancouver. Lavender & Lilacs Florist thanks everybody for their supports.
2018 The 50th Anniversary of St. Vartan Armenian Apostolic Church
We are also proud to have provided the floral decorations for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the foundation of St. Vartan Armenian Apostolic Church of British Columbia on May 19th, 2018. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to serve at this important event and thank the advisor of Sub-Committee Church and our favorite customer Isabel Kalpakian, for including our company in their anniversary brochure.
