In my opinion, it also strengthens the connection between generations, as people of different age categories are usually present at birthdays and weddings.
However, some people in our society decide that organizing birthdays and weddings are a waste of money. I agree that this occurs when people have negative relationships with their relatives or do not have close friends. Moreover, some people may have a low living standard; therefore, they cannot afford to spend on money any celebrations.
