Whether it’s job-related, a home close to the water or a favourite hobby, whatever the reason seaside weddings have special appeal. With the right nautical props and a blue-and-white colour scheme, for our beautiful and happy couple Kristen and Steven it will soon be “ship ahoy” to married bliss! Sail into the safe haven of marriage!
The floral arch on the bow of the ship shows the direction of the chosen path. White is the colour of fairweather clouds for a marriage made in heaven and also the flowers in the bridal bouquet. Mooring ropes help batten down the hatches on family board. Our nautical theme uses rope as a symbol of the security of marriage vows. Not only looped around the groom’s boutonniere but also in decorations of the arch and centrepiece arrangements we used a nautical accessory.
The hurricane lamps on the wedding tables with their floral filling all in white are reminiscent of ship’s lanterns. A must: ropes looped around the vases and serviettes with eye-catching knots. As a souvenir of this special day, wedding keepsakes with small good-luck charms have been prepared for all the wedding guest!
